Every meaningful proposal begins with a conversation. We start with a conversation—by grabbing a coffee (if you already are in the Copenhagen area), phone or video call. You’ll share your proposal idea, vision, and any concerns you may have. I’ll walk you through the process, answer all your questions, and help you feel fully confident about the day ahead. Together, we define the timing, location, and atmosphere that will make the moment truly personal.
This is where your proposal truly takes shape. If you wish, together, we can refine the idea and plan every meaningful detail. If you already have a location in mind, I’ll scout it in advance to find the best angles, light, and discreet shooting positions. If you’re still deciding, I can suggest beautiful locations in and around Copenhagen that will fit your desire and, of course, visually stunning. I help you think beyond the photos—how it will feel, flow, and unfold in real life. Need help arranging special touches? I can assist with practical and creative elements such as using a cargo bike, organizing champagne and an aperitif, or adding thoughtful details that make the moment unforgettable.
On proposal day, I arrive early and blend naturally into the surroundings. I’ll capture the environment, your approach, the question, the reaction, and those first moments of celebration. Most importantly, you’ll have uninterrupted time together to truly live and savor this once-in-a-lifetime moment, while I quietly document it all with care and discretion.
After the proposal, I introduce myself—often met with smiles and happy disbelief. We then take a short, relaxed portrait session, allowing you to slow down and enjoy the moment together. These images are natural, elegant, and timeless—capturing connection rather than poses.
Within 48 hours, you receive a curated preview to share with loved ones. Your complete gallery—50 to 100 carefully edited, high-resolution images—follows within one week. Every photograph is refined with care and ready to be printed, framed, and cherished for years to come.
If you wish to extend this experience, I would be delighted to capture an additional couple session. Whether it’s simply for yourselves or to create meaningful images for your wedding announcement, this moment can be preserved with the same care, discretion, and attention to emotion.
This is extremely rare. I've photographed hundreds of proposals, and in nearly every case, the partner is completely surprised. I use long lenses, blend into the environment, and position myself naturally. Even if I'm briefly noticed, I appear as just another tourist or photographer in the area.
We'll have a backup plan. I can recommend beautiful indoor locations, or we can reschedule if needed. I never charge extra for weather-related changes—your perfect moment matters more than the schedule.
Ideally 2-4 weeks, but I can often accommodate shorter notice. Peak season (May-September) books up faster, so early booking is recommended. Contact me as soon as you have a date in mind.
Absolutely. I cover all of Denmark. Popular locations include Copenhagen, Nyhavn, Kronborg Castle, Louisiana Museum, and scenic coastal areas. Travel is included for most locations within Greater Copenhagen; longer distances may have a small travel fee.
While this is incredibly rare, I'm sensitive to all outcomes. If the answer isn't what you hoped, I'll discretely step away and you'll only be charged a minimal fee for my time. Your emotional wellbeing comes first.
